Welton’s largely queer stories, poetry, interviews & comment have appeared in many local and international markets, including 3 years covering the Melbourne International Comedy Festival as a reviewer, and have even been exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Publications have included Australian Women’s Forum, Swyntax Literary Journal, The Pun, Journeys to the Point: Poetry by Young Australians, Rocknerd.org, THEMA literary journal and Bide magazine.
Currently, Welton is novel wrangling and pining for a decent alehouse.
Welton’s likes include dinky bars, museums, punk gigs, cats, the MCG when Richmond’s winning, muscle cars, Edwardian fantasies, and places where history can be felt under one’s feet.
Dislikes include bigotry, neo-conservatism, and flat beer.
Big Rock Publishing brings Welton’s books to the world and may expand in future years.
